Majja Branding
Majja is a quick-service restaurant selling Indian street food as a branded and hygienic experience. Originally started from Ahmedabad, Majja plans to take this experience across India. The brand's main USP is its authentic Mumbai style Vada Pav, along with Idli, Missal Pav, Vada Usal, Rajwadi Chaas, and more. View the complete project here and the Creative Gaga feature here.
Year: 2016
Agency: NH1 Design
Problem: The Ahmedabad market was selling anything but authentic Vada Pav. Brands were serving vada pav with cheese, paalak (spinach), and chole (chickpea) so naturally, NH1 Design wanted to reinforce the authentic story. Targeting the youth and office goers who want a quick snack at an affordable price, the challenge was to create a brand synonymous with authentic taste, fun, young and affordable.
Role: As a Graphic Design intern I contributed to conceptualizing the identity design and illustrated the initial set of brand illustrations. Note: I did not illustrate the final illustrations. The illustrations below were the initial draft to present to the client.
